In the summer of 2003 I worked as an editorial intern for Bitch in San Francisco (the magazine has since relocated to Portland, Oregon). During that time I contributed a few front of book articles, a column and a book review to the magazine while basking in the California sunshine.
I still occasionally freelance for Bitch. The Nancy Ajram front-of-book piece (note the headline's Reality Bites nod) was written post-internship.
